Diwali, the world’s most widely celebrated festival, has arrived, and the festivities are in full flow. With people’s spirits up and their excitement surging, businesses are seizing the chance to reach out to their customers with one-of-a-kind initiatives.

The following are some fascinating Diwali campaigns that we at The Capturing Factory adored!

  • Grofers – Ek Din Se Do Ghar Roshan!

Grofers has enabled local potters to sell handmade diyas on Grofers to benefit local craftspeople whose livelihoods have been adversely disrupted by the Covid-19 outbreak.

During this festive season, the initiative ‘Ek Din Se Do Ghar Roshan,’ which means ‘one lamp lights up two houses,’ encourages consumers to shop for diyas made by local potters, which will help more than 200 potters and their families in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Kolkata light up Diwali.

  • OPPO – Be The Light

Oppo did a fantastic job with its 2020 Diwali ad, especially in terms of narrative. Oppo’s commercial goes beyond family and home. Many others couldn’t afford to buy little pleasures like crackers to celebrate Diwali after spending the first half of the year jobless. Oppo put out a message about being the light and sharing it to bring a smile to someone’s face.

The state of the economy in COVID has tempered people’s excitement for festivities. Many businesses have opted to cast a spotlight on these unsung heroes.

Closeness, empathy, optimism, generosity, and support, among other themes, dominated the advertising landscape this year.

  • Mankind Pharma – Spreading Kindness

Mankind Pharma has launched a campaign this Diwali that focuses on #SpreadingKindness and conveys the concept that kindness is inherent in all of us; all we have to do is discover it for others.

The campaign is based on the significance of compassion and assisting those in need, and it tries to inspire individuals to bring light and joy into the lives of others.

It has a powerful message and has garnered a lot of positive feedback for its unique concept.

  • Haier – Light Up A Heart

Haier’s new digital video #LightUpAHeart portrays the lives of office workers who used to work closely together but have grown away as a result of remote offices and work from home arrangements.

The advertisement aims to foster office relationships and reignite Diwali celebrations with colleagues who, despite their best efforts, were unable to meet and spend the festival of lights together this year.

The brand uses the ad to illustrate how workplaces become a second home for employees and how professional relationships can become personal.

  • Philips – Khushiyon Ki Ladi

Philips’ Khushiyon Ki Ladi advertising depicts dependency in a lovely way. The commercial takes the viewer on a journey via interconnected celebrations.

The commercial tells how the economy is intertwined with extremely subtle scenarios such as buying chocolates from a store and receiving a box. The video lets us experience a sense of spirit and interconnectedness.
